We provide firearms training to students of all skill levels from the never-shot-a-pistol-before, beginner, novice, intermediate, to the experienced shooter.  For the beginner and novice shooters we offer the NRA Basic Pistol course where we teach firearm safety, the basics of different pistol types, ammunition, cleaning and safe storage of the firearms and ammunition. We also focus on shooting fundamentals as a foundation to build upon. This includes stance, breath control, sight picture, sight alignment, 1- & 2- handed shooting techniques, trigger control and follow through.  NRA First Steps Pistol is oriented to a specific firearm already owned by the student, and we cover ammunition, cleaning and safe storage of the firearms and ammunition. We also focus on shooting fundamentals as a foundation to build upon. This includes stance, breath control, sight picture, sight alignment, 1- & 2- handed shooting techniques, trigger control and follow through, first with .22LR pistols and then transition to the student's firearm.

Also available is rifle training with the NRA Basic Rifle course where we teach firearm safety, the basics of different rifle types, ammunition, cleaning and safe storage of the firearms and ammunition. We also focus on shooting fundamentals as a foundation to build upon. This includes standing, kneeling, prone and sitting positions as well as bench rest shooting techniques. NRA First Steps Rifle is oriented to a specific firearm already owned by the student.

For students that don't own a firearm, we offer students a chance to "test drive" a number of different firearms to help them in their decision process.

For the intermediate level we offer Practical Pistol I. Students learn proper gun handling and safety procedures, range commands, grip, stances and sighting techniques on a "cold" range (firearms unloaded, safe and holstered when not shooting). NRA Personal Protection in the Home where students learn defensive handgun skills, firearms and the law, use of deadly force, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation. Finally, NRA Personal Protection outside the Home where students learn advanced concealed carry and defensive shooting techniques.

For the experienced student we offer Practical Pistol II. We take the student to the next level with one-handed, weak handed shooting techniques, tactical reloads, malfunction drills, barricade shooting and speed shooting. Emphasis is placed on balancing accuracy with speed. In addition we have the Sport Utility Rifle where the student is taught shooting positions and techniques, speed shooting, standard and non-standard response drills, speed and tactical reloads, clearing malfunctions, setting rifle zero, firearm transitions, use of cover and an overview and assessment of equipment.
