Course Description

This is a 8 hour course:

5 hours classroom study

 3 hours on the  range

 Covering:

Introduction to Defensive Shooting

Basic Defensive Handgun Skills

Firearms and the Law

Use of Deadly Force

Strategies for Home Safety

Responding to a Violent Confrontation

Selecting a Handgun for Self-Defense

Exam / NRA Certification

 Presented by NRA certified instructors

Course Notes/Requirements

Class is limited to 16 students

Ear and Eye Protection (Required)

Quality center-fire Handgun (9mm or larger)

Strong Side Hip Holster

Two Magazines/Speed Loaders

100 Rounds of Ammunition

Weather appropriate clothing/rain gear

Lunch will be provided

Pre-requisite: NRA Basic Pistol or First Steps - Pistol or Instructor Waiver
